1. Tuning Day 13 Feb
Is this your first time getting involved in organisational activities? Did you just start in a new position? Would you like to get some tips and inspiration for tuning your organisation and making it even better? Take part in HYY’s Tuning Day! Unfortunately, the training sessions are only held in Finnish. The training material will be translated into Swedish and English. Join the event at the Main Building of the University of Helsinki 3.30–7.30 pm on 13 February! Read more and sign up by 11 February.

2. Update your organisation’s information
Every organisation operating under HYY must annually provide their up-to-date information to HYY. This information is submitted through the organisation information form. The form must be completed whether your organisation is applying for an activity grant or not. Organisations applying for an activity grant must complete the information form by February 29. Other organisations must update their information by 30 September at the latest. All organisations have been sent an invitation to fill out the information form! If you did not receive yours, send a message to janne.salokoski@hyy.fi.
3. Apply for HYY’s operating grant!
All organisations have been sent an invitation to fill out the application form for activity grant! If you did not receive yours, send a message to janne.salokoski@hyy.fi.
Any organisation operating under HYY is eligible to apply for an operating grant. Before applying, please read the conditions for the grant and its use, and the operating grant allocation model. Please also remember to fill in the information form for organisations, as this is a prerequisite for the grant.
The application period for the operating grant is 1–29 February 2024. The application form closes on 29 February 2024 at 4.00 pm. We will not process late applications.

4. Join the HYY Organisation Info Telegram-channel
he channel provides quick and efficient information on current issues. By subscribing to the channel, you will be informed immediately when there is new information about the renovation of the New Student House, when the booking rounds for Alina Hall start or when there is only one hour left to fill in the organisation premise application.

5. Do you have students with families among your members?
Our childcare service Little HYY provides HYY’s members with temporary childcare help. Little HYY operates at Siltavuorenpenger 3 C, the entrance is through the inner courtyard. Regular time slots for the spring term can be booked by e-mail.
