


We are looking for a part-time childminder for our childcare service, Little HYY
NEWS
The childminder will work on a permanent contract starting on 10 October or as agreed.
Little HYY provides the Student Union’s members with temporary childcare help. The minimum age for children is six months, and the maximum duration of care is four hours at a time. Little HYY is open from Monday to Thursday at 8 am–4 pm and on Friday at 8 am–2 pm. The service operates in the University’s premises in Siltavuorenpenger and currently has one employee.
The childminder’s duties include the reception of children, basic care of smaller children, guiding the play/crafts of older children, managing Little HYY’s payment transactions and maintaining the facilities together with the other employee.
We require you to like children and genuinely enjoy their company as well as get along with different kinds of people. We hope that you have experience of similar work. In the work, you will need good interaction skills, inventiveness and patience. A good command of English is also required in the work, whereas Swedish skills are considered an advantage.
We are offering you an independent job, a nice, diverse work community and an interesting perspective on the student world. In accordance with the student unions’ collective salary agreement, the initial salary for the position is €1147.34/month, with potential bonuses for education and experience. The salary also includes lunch and sports benefits. The position is a part-time one: 3 days (around 22.5 hours) per week.
