Students’ Mental Health Day breaks down the barriers of seeking help

Students’ Mental Health Day is today, on Thursday, 22 April. The theme for this year’s Student Mental Health Day  is communality and right for help. The goal is to provoke conversations about students’ mental health and to invite everyone to support the cause of mental wellbeing. Behind the scenes of the campaign is the Student Wellbeing Network coordinated by Nyyti.

The purpose of the #HelpWorthy campaign for Students’ Mental Health Day, is to highlight the many forms of helping while encouraging people to share their personal experiences, and, first and foremost, to encourage young people and students to seek help when they feel the need for it.

When you need support, help is available. The most important thing is that you are not left alone with your worries. On Nyyti’s website, you can find different organizations providing help for students and young adults facing various life challenges, grouped by theme.

We as HYY are taking part in the campaign by publishing blogs on our website and sharing information on mental health in social media.
