Miran Hamidulla appointed as HYY’s specialist in organisations

HYY’s group of specialists has been reinforced with a new member. Our new specialist in organisations started in his position at the end of last year

Miran Hamidulla has begun work as our new specialist in organisations. Hamidulla is acting as a substitute to Jaakko Kalske, who took up a temporary position as ArtSU’s secretary general, until April. In his position as our specialist in organisations, Hamidulla is in charge of providing support and advice to HYY’s extensive organisational field. Together with the member of the Board in charge of organisations, the specialist in organisations ensures that the wheels of HYY’s organisational sector keep on turning in all conditions.

‘I am looking forward to getting to work with HYY’s diverse organisational sector once more. Work never ends on the sector, and nothing gets finished in one go, which creates interesting challenges even in normal circumstances – and likely more so during these exceptional times’, the expectant Hamidulla reflects.

Hamidulla hails from the Helsinki region and has previously acted as the member of HYY’s Board in charge of organisations in 2015, in HYY’s Representative Council and in several organisations operating under HYY. He studied political history in the Faculty of Social Sciences.

During his free time, Hamidulla likes to cycle either for fun or, occasionally, as a courier. ‘Sometimes I also take part in public discussion to rant about the poor working conditions of bicycle couriers!’ Hamidulla reveals.

There are over 200 different organisations operating under HYY.
