Flora’s Day is a joint springtime celebration of the students of the University of Helsinki! This year we celebrate spring right in the middle of Helsinki at Domus Gaudium and the New Student House..

Have you heard about the legendary parties that filled up the entire New Student House? What about the Domma10 parties? We certainly have, and we are bringing these parties back by incorporating them in this year’s Flora’s Day celebration!

Flora is organised simultaneously at the New Student House and Domus Gaudium from 6 to 10 pm on 15 May! The programme is jointly organised by HYY and student organisation operating within HYY, which means that the day will be filled with all kinds of interesting activities. Join us!

Tickets for Flora will go on sale on kide.app on 15 April at 2 pm! Tickets cost €5. The 400 fastest spring party-goers will be able to join in.
There will be two starts: one between 6-8 pm and other between 8-10 pm. 200 participants per building can participate in each start. You can choose to start your tour from Domus Gaudium or from the New Student House. At 8 pm, participants will switch buildings, so you will be able to tour the programme in both buildings anyway. Plus, you’ll get your own unique overall badge from both buildings!
Flora’s Day will of course be followed by Flora’s Night, which will be celebrated at the Hämäläis-Osakunta starting at 10 pm! The afterpaty tickets are sold on kide.app starting at 25 April at 2:00 pm.

Flora's Night

So it’s spring, and summer is already knocking on the door – but there’s still time for one more interdisciplinary party!
 
Join us for Flora’s Night at Hämis on Thursday 15 May at 10 pm-4 am! At this party you’ll get to show off your best moves on a DJ-driven dance floor and sing your heart out at karaoke. During the evening, you can also enjoy a sauna, and you won’t be hungry or thirsty as the hosts and hostesses of Hämis entertain the party crowd.
 
This fun costs just €4 and tickets go on sale today 25 April at 2 pm. All you need is your student card and a happy spring mood!
Event safety and accessibility
The event will follow the principles of safer space of Hämäläis-Osakunta. If you experience or witness harassment at an event, you can contact the event security officers by message or phone with a low threshold. You can reach them on +358 40 135 5899, and you will be able to identify them during the event by their attention vests.
Drugs are strictly prohibited at the event.
Unfortunately, the premises of the Hämäläis-Osakunta are not accessible. There is no accessible entry to the premises and there are no accessible toilets.
