Sign your organisation up for the Opening Carnival, DL August 15!
Does your organisation want to participate in this year’s Opening Carnival? Last year, there were as many as 170 organisations on the City Centre campus! This year, the Opening Carnival is held on Monday 2 September 2019 in the City Centre Campus.
Please sign up your organisation as soon as possible. The deadline for signing up is at 11.59 pm on 15 August. NOTE! You can also edit this form until the deadline through the confirmation message that you receive after signing up.

The most epic event of every autumn The Fresher Adventure is coming again! Registration for checkpoint host in the 2019 Fresher Adventure is open till August 15, 11.59 pm.All HYY’s organisations can sign up to host a checkpoint in the Fresher Adventure!

Organisation and organisation active – sign up for Alina Hall’s user trainings!
Was your organisation granted an Alina reservation for autumn 2019, but none of your active members participated in the training in spring 2019? No worries! The Student Organisations Committee is organising supplementary user training for Alina Hall for autumn 2019.
The trainings are held at the Alina Hall, on the third floor of the New Student House (Mannerheimintie 5 A). The dates for the trainings are 26th, 27th and 28th of August. The trainings will mainly be held in Finnish, and in Swedish and English if necessary. The training lasts about an hour.

Start your semester with Restart
This year, the Restart event kicking off the autumn is bigger than ever! It is now aimed at everyone volunteering with us, which means that we will be able to get some inspiration and motivation together with all active members of organisations and committees as well as our student representatives in administration.
Restart, organised now for the third time, will help you get inspired for the autumn and ease yourself back gently after the summer holiday. The event features thought-provoking speeches, allows you to concentrate on motivation and coping, teaches you new practical skills and lets you discuss the benefits that volunteer activities offer for working life. And the best part of it is that everything takes place in the company of numerous other volunteer actors!
Restart is held at the Maria01 event space (at Lapinlahdenkatu 16) on 9 September.
