HYY’s Services Office returns to the New Student House

Our Services Office has spent a long time in temporary facilities due to the renovation of the New Student House. It will make its long-awaited return home at the end of March.
HYY’s Services Office is moving from Kaivokatu back to its home at the New Student House at Mannerheimintie 5 B, 2nd floor. The entrance is through the door next to L’Occitane on Mannerheimintie. The Services Office is closed during the move, 20–22 March 2024. Our Services Office will start serving students at its new address starting on Monday 25 March 2024. Even though the location is new, the opening hours and services of the Services Office remain the same.
‘We have been waiting for our Services Office to return home for a long time now. Our own premises have been specially designed for the needs of the Services Office. For this reason, we believe that the move will improve customer experience even further’, HYY’s Chief Financial and Service Officer Anna Laurila asserts.
HYY’s Services Office provides various services for members and organisations. HYY’s members can, for instance, pick up the year tag for their student card from the Services Office. Keys to organisational premises and various devices are also picked up at the Services Office.
The Services Office has been operating at and around Kaivopiha in various temporary facilities for around four years due to the renovation of the New Student House. The renovation was undertaken to accommodate the operation of a new hotel at the New Student House. The renovation is now coming to an end, and Hotel NH Helsinki Grand Hansa will open its doors in spring 2024.
