Four reinforcements for the autumn term

Four new employees have begun work at HYY: Salli Ahtiainen-Helanne, Venla Kinnunen, Eevi Laaksovirta and Antti Niemelä.
Having served as the selection coordinator last autumn, Venla Kinnunen returns to the Central Office and her old position to oversee the application processes and selections of HYY’s student representatives together with Specialist in Educational Policy Riku-Petteri Kyllönen. This autumn, student representatives will be selected for the steering groups of degree programmes.
Salli Ahtiainen-Helanne has begun work at HYY to coordinate the other major project of the autumn, HYY’s Representative Council elections.
Tea Laine, who has served as HYY’s documents secretary since summer 2023, is now moving into postgraduate studies to earn herself a doctoral hat. Eevi Laaksovirta, who started work as Tea’s successor, has accumulated diverse experience in HYY’s organisational field.
Antti Niemelä has begun work in a new position as IT project employee and will be supporting the organisational sector in particular with the development of information management.

- Antti Niemelä: IT project employee starting from 6 August
