Opening Carnival 2026 AFTERPARTY

The carnival spirit doesn’t end at the campus! The evening continues in a laid-back atmosphere at Helsinki Camping from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Expect some laid-back hanging out and light entertainment. You can come with a friend or meet new people at the speed-friending event! We’re hosting two speed-friending sessions: at 7 pm and 8 pm.

The event ticket includes admission, a coat check, one non-alcoholic drink ticket (€8), and a game ticket!

The event is supported by the Erkki Poikonen Foundation, whose aim is to promote healthy lifestyle choices amongst young people.

Accessibility at the Event

Sign up for the event on Kide.App. An assistant or interpreter may attend the event free of charge; please notify us in advance at aleksi.vonhintze@hyy.fi before the event.

You can participate in HYY’s event discussions and activities without fear of inappropriate treatment or harassment. A safe space is created through interaction between people, and each of us shares responsibility for this.

The event will be conducted in Finnish, Swedish, and English.

Helsinki Camping is located at Iso Roobertinkatu 4, 00120 Helsinki. The location is easily accessible by public transportation, including by bus and tram from Helsinki Central Station and Kamppi. You can read more about accessibility on public transportation on the HSL website.

• The space may have bright lights, loud noises, or strong odors.
• Music may be played loudly on the premises, and there may also be other noise. There is no separate, quiet retreat area adjacent to the space.
