HYY’s event principles are in effect at the Anniversary and birthday party. We want everyone to be able to participate in the Anniversary as they are and feel safe while having fun. The reception of greetings begins at the café in the Old Student House at 3.30 pm. The order of the greetings will be scheduled and people informed about this when we know the number of parties presenting a greeting.
Everyone participating in the Anniversary is welcome to attend the cocktail event. Between the greetings, you can enjoy bubbly drinks and get into the festive spirit together with the other guests.
The Old Student House is partially not accessible. Accessible entrance to the building is from Ylioppilasaukio. The premises on the first floor are accessible, and the cloakroom for the Anniversary is on the first floor. The festive premises have one accessible, gender-neutral toilet. If you have any questions or requests related to the accessibility of the premises, please contact us!
The Anniversary would not be possible without an amazing Anniversary team, and we are now looking for members for that team. There are numerous different duties available from handling the social media to acting as a herald, and we are thus looking for multiskilled people to realise different parts of the celebration. We are looking for motivated people with initiative and, first and foremost, enthusiasm. When applying for the position, previous experience of event organisation through, for instance, organisational activities, work or hobbies, is considered an advantage.
As a member of the team, you will get to be a part of the events of the Anniversary weekend for free, get experience of event production and, of course, work in a great group of people. The entire team will be rewarded with an appreciation evening after the Anniversary!
If you have any questions related to the Anniversary or birthday party, do not hesitate to contact the anniversary masters.
A very warm welcome once again!
