Responsibilities for members of HYY’s Board have been assigned for 2026

HYY’s new Board has started its work, organising itself in its meeting on 9 January 2026.
During 2026, HYY will crown Manta on May Day, move to Leppäsuo (to Domus Gaudium and the library building) and prepare for the parliamentary elections next year.
The Board’s division of responsibilities:
Emil Aarnio: chair
Olli Jalonen: vice chair, sustainable development, committees, parliamentary elections
Juuso Försti: Chair of the Financial Committee, organisations
Delila Belahcen: educational policy, faculty contact persons
Nikola Eerola: social policy, equality
Minea Lundström: Ylva, sports, bilingualism
Iida Niva-Vesala: events, new students, tutors
Helmiina Toivo: communication, internationality, development cooperation
