You can only participate in the event remotely, and the event will not be livestreamed or recorded.

HYY will also later organise info sessions that are held in person.

In addition to the info sessions, you can request a separate meeting for your organisation or cluster. In this case, please contact HYY’s chief financial and service officer.

ACCESSIBILITY

Participating in the event

Entrance to the event is free. The event does not have an entrance fee.

The event is organised online on Microsoft Teams.

Principles of safer space

At HYY’s events, you can participate in discussions and activities without fear of inappropriate treatment or harassment. Safe space is created in the interaction between people, and each one of us is responsible for this.

Language of the event

Separate events will be held for Finnish-, Swedish- and English-speaking participants.

The event organiser does not provide interpretation for the event. Assistants and interpreters can join the event for free. Please inform the event organiser about a possible assistant or interpreter before the event to help us ensure as smooth participation in the event as possible.

Arriving at the event

The event is organised on Microsoft Teams. A link to Teams is available on this page in the event description and further down in the list of links. To use Teams, you may need to log in using your O365 account. All students at the University of Helsinki have an O365 account provided by the University.

We recommend testing the technology and opening the event link before the info session begins to ensure smooth participation in the event.

Physical restrictions at the venue

Microsoft Teams is not a fully accessible platform but provides several aids for deaf and hearing-impaired people, for instance. You can read about the accessibility tools available on Teams in more detail on Microsoft’s website: https://support.microsoft.com/en-GB/accessibility

Sensory accessibility

Depending on the operation of the network, the event may suffer from lagging audio or video.
