We reward axemplary organisation actives!
Do you know an active person in your student organisation whose hard work, positive attitude or incredible innovation you have admired?
Do you know someone without whom, for example, a much-needed rule change in your organisation would have been left unfinished forever? Without whom would your membership register be a jumbled collection of lost papers? Or would your premises always be left a mess without them, while others run for the last bus?
For these or other reasons, you can now let us know about your Organisation Hero in order to get them the recognition they deserve for the work they do!
You can nominate your Organisation Hero as an individual or as a group, or even as a whole organisation. The Hero’s achievements can be from this year alone or over a longer period.
You can nominate an Organisation Hero using the Organisation Heroes 2025 form. Fill in the details of the hero and the person who nominated them, together with a free-form justification for the nomination. The Heroes are rewarded with a certificate of honour, on which the justification for their heroism is printed on as is.
The Organisation Heroes of 2025 will be announced at HYY’s Annual Celebration on 8 November 2025.
The form is open 1-28 October 2025.
