1. Become a candidate in HYY’s Representative Council Elections!

Now is your chance to make a real impact on the activities of the Student Union and shape the future direction of HYY. The Representative Council is HYY’s highest decision-making body. As a member, you’ll influence the Student Union’s finances, advocacy, and make key appointments to the most important positions within HYY!

2. Apply to a selection committee!

This autumn, we will be selecting student representatives for important advocacy work positions in the faculty councils and the University Collegium. Serving on a selection committee, you will gain valuable experience of recruitment and get to ensure that the most motivated applicants are selected to represent students. Apply by 11.59 pm on 10 September!

3. Apply to become a student representative on a faculty council or the University Collegium!

We students have an important role in building the future of the University. You now have a chance to be involved in influencing matters! This autumn, we are looking for student representatives for faculty councils and the University Collegium. On a faculty council, you will get to develop teaching and research in your own faculty. The University Collegium, on the other hand, provides you with the opportunity to influence matters concerning the entire University. You can serve as the voice of students in one or both administrative bodies – it is your call. Read more and apply by 9 October 2025!

4. Do you know how to use the induction loop?

You can borrow an induction loop from HYY for free. The induction loop is a device designed for hearing aid users. You can get advice on how to use the induction loop from HYY’s new instructional video.

5. Fresher Adventure 2025 Afterparty

The most cross-disciplinary dance floor of the autumn will ensure that the atmosphere heats up as soon as the doors open! At midnight, ANI will take the stage. Tickets are sold through kide.app!
