1. Would you like to showcase your organisation’s activities to new students in autumn 2025?

HYY is organising or involved in the organisation of three events aimed at new students, and organisations are very welcome to get involved too:

• Check-in Event, 27–28 August
• The Opening Carnival, 1 September
• The Fresher Adventure, 24 September

You can use one form to sign up for the events of your choice all at once – and update your details later if needed. Registration using the form is open until 11.59 pm on 17 August.

2. Reservation rounds for Alina Hall and Sivistys sauna for autumn 2025 start soon!

We organize reservation rounds twice a year for both Alina Hall and Sivistys sauna. During these rounds, organisations operating under HYY can reserve these facilities for their use.

Next up are the reservation rounds for autumn 2025! There will be two actual reservation rounds, preceded by an advance reservation round. Organisations participating in the reservation rounds must familiarize themselves with the instructions for the facility they are reserving before their reservation takes place. Instructions for using HYY’s festive and meeting facilities can be found in the HYY organisational info bank (login jarjesto.info@hyy.fi, password Sitruunapuu1234). An organisation may be granted one reservation for Alina and one for Sivistys during the reservation rounds. Any remaining free time slots can be reserved through HYY’s Services Office after the second actual reservation round.

Before participating in the reservation rounds, organisations must check available time slots in the electronic booking calendar.

3. Try out HYY’s data bank for organisations

The data bank for organisations features a collection of guides, instructions and training material to help you with organisational activities. Among other information, the data bank includes an annual schedule for associations’ operation, basic information on good administration, instructions for individual officials and information on promoting equality in associations. You can access the data bank with the username jarjesto.info@hyy.fi and the password ‘Sitruunapuu1234’. Some material may be incomplete, and translations in particular are still missing. Feedback on the material can be submitted by email to janne.salokoski@hyy.fi.
