1. Changes in HYY’s premises in 2026 – FAQ |
1. Changes in HYY’s premises in 2026 – FAQHYY’s premises will undergo significant changes in 2026. This page features up-to-date information and news on how the situation will unfold. This page will be updated as needed – for instance, if we spot new questions that we have not yet answered either at all or in enough detail. We have also compiled a list of questions we have received that have not yet been answered (unfortunately only in Finnish at the moment). The material presented at the information sessions on 17 and 18. November will be published in the HYY’s organisation database (username jarjesto.info@hyy.fi, password Sitruunapuu1234). |
2. Discussion events for organisationsDiscussion event for organisations operating in Domus Gaudium and the library building
Discussion event for organisations operating in the New Student House In addition to the info sessions, you can request a separate meeting for your organisation or cluster. In this case, please contact HYY’s chief financial and service officer (Anna Laurila, anna.laurila@hyy.fi). |
3. Contact details form for organisationsYou can use this form to already submit the information for your officials for 2026 during 2025. However, do not submit the information before the officials have been appointed in the association’s meeting (or similar). Save the confirmation message for the registration. It includes a link you can use to update the information in case of any changes during the year. |
4. Survey on organisational premisesHYY offers the organisations operating under it the opportunity to use organisational premises. Organisations are granted the rights to use the premises in the allocation of premises, which is made for a three-year period at a time. The current allocation period ends in summer 2026, and the next one will continue until the end of 2029. The aim of this survey is to chart the organisations’ need for premises: what purposes do they need the premises for and how much use do they have for them. This information will help us with making useful, user-friendly organisational premises without wasting square area and hours. |
5. Reservation rounds for Alina Hall and Sivistys sauna for spring 2026 start in DecemberThe available dates are between 12 January and 17 May 2026. There will be two actual reservation rounds, preceded by an advance reservation round. An organisation may be granted one reservation for Alina and one for Sivistys during the reservation rounds. Any remaining free time slots can be reserved through HYY’s Services Office after the second actual reservation round. |
