Safety
HYY’s principles of safer space are in effect at the event. At HYY’s events, you can participate in discussions and activities without fear of inappropriate treatment or harassment. Safe space is created in the interaction between people, and each one of us is responsible for this.
There is no separately designated person in charge of event safety at the event. If you observe any shortcomings related to safety or encounter inappropriate behaviour at the event, you can contact the event organisers. The event organisers will be introduced at the beginning of the meeting.
Accessibility
The main entrance at Vuorikatu 3 is located in an inner courtyard that can be accessed through an archway between Fabianinkatu 24 and 26. An accessible entrance with a door that has a button for opening it is located to the left of the main entrance. After entering the building, there is a lift on the left at the end of a corridor (width of the doorway 1,000 mm, width of unobstructed space in the lift 1,270 mm and depth 1,700 mm). The lift is used to get to the first floor.
The furniture in the premises can be moved around. The unobstructed height under the tables is 670 mm. The premises also feature a fixed induction loop. Further information on the accessibility of the event facilities will be provided by request. Further information is provided by nikola.eerola@hyy.fi.
Language of the event: The event is held in Finnish, but you may also speak English or Swedish. The meeting organiser does not provide interpretation for the event. You can bring an assistant or interpreter to the meeting with you.
