The autumn’s project employees have started their work

HYY is getting some reinforcements for the autumn’s administrative duties, with Venla Kinnunen and Eevi Laaksovirta having started work as project employees. 

Venla Kinnunen returns to the Central Office in a familiar role as the selection coordinator for student representatives in administration. She has previously worked in the same position in 2023 and 2024. Kinnunen started her work in autumn 2025 on 14 August.  

“I feel very good about the coming autumn, it will be fun to get back to the selection of student representatives! Student representatives do invaluable work for students, and working with these themes is very motivating”, Kinnunen states.   

HYY’s Documents Secretary Eevi Laaksovirta will serve as the Representative Council election coordinator in 2025. Laaksovirta started in her new position on 4th of August.  

“The election coordinator’s job felt like a natural addition to that of the documents secretary: I have become very familiar with the Representative Council’s meeting administration during the past year, and it will now be interesting to learn about and realise the administrative side of the Representative Council’s formation too”, Laaksovirta explains.
