HYY’s (Helsinki University’s Student Union) Representative Council elections are back!

HYY’s representative council (RepCo) is the highest decision-making body of Helsinki University’s Student Union with 60 representatives. They make decisions regarding finances and services provided by HYY, which includes decisions about spaces owned by HYY (such as Alina Hall and the building where Sivistys/Klusteri are). The RepCo also elects the board of HYY. Now is your time to elect the representative council!

International Election Panel:

An international election panel held in English will take place next Wednesday, 8th of October in Physicum Lobby 16-17:30 (Gustaf Hällströmin katu 2) to help you decide who to vote for.

Candidates from several representative council groups will be given the opportunity to explain their positions on HYY, and you can discuss with them all face to face! Find out which group you resonate with! Especially international students are under-represented in the elections and the council, so it is your time to make your voice heard!

Voting:

You can vote electronically at vaalit.hyy.fi (https://vaalit.hyy.fi/) from Wednesday to Friday on 15–17 October and from Monday to Wednesday on 20–22 October at 10 AM to 8 PM.
