HYY will renew its urban programme in the year of 2015. We want to include our members by opening the preparation of the urban programme in the urban policy working group. We welcome enthusiastic freshmen, Representative Council members and experienced urban researchers. You do not have to be a specialist in the field – we particularly need the students' opinions on what a good city is like.
HYY <3 City event will be organised at Café Vanha at 5pm on 26 March. In the event, Deputy Mayor Anni Sinnemäki and Hanna Hakko from Carbon-Free Helsinki campaign will talk about urban policy. In the connection of the event, the urban policy working group will meet for the first time. You are welcome to listen and discuss in the event even if you are not interested in participating in the working group. Invite your friends, too! (FB Event)
We intend to discuss at least the following topics in the working group. Which topics interest you the most? (tick these in the registration form)
Roof over everyone's head
Development of public transport
Urban space belongs to everyone
Energy of the future
Well-being and income
Helsinki of civilisation and education
Culture in the city
Please sign up for the working group here. Also sign up if you want to participate in the commenting of the urban programme but only remotely, and we will offer you the opportunity to comment on Google Drive.
