HYY annually awards operational grants to its organisations. The aim of the grants is to support the activities of organisations operating under HYY. You can apply for the operational grant through an electronic application form at tahlo.hyy.fi. Applications should be left by 1 March.
HYY supports its organisations' publishing activities by awarding them organisation paper grants. The grant is only awarded for printed publications. Do you want to develop yourself as an organisational actor? Would you like to get some tips and inspiration for tuning your organisation and making it even better? Join us at HYY’s Tuning Day to receive both training and inspiration!
Tuning Day is held at the City Centre campus on Wednesday 27 February 2019. It is a training event for all organisational actors and features a variety of training sessions – you will get lots of chances to learn something new whether you are active in a hobby organisation, a student nation, a subject organisation or a faculty organisation!

Members of HYY’s Board and HYY’s specialists will be on call providing guidance every day from Monday to Thursday on each of the University of Helsinki’s campuses in turn. HYY POP UPs will have themed tables related to subsistence, wellbeing, study affairs, elections, committees and organisations. In addition to this, you will be able to get yourself brand-new HYY overall badges, HYY products and prizes!

Come and learn about the activities of the Student Organisations Committee and meet its members in a relaxed fashion! You can also take part in low-threshold brainstorming for the upcoming year’s events for organisational actors.

On what grounds does HYY decide the amount of money my organisation receives?
Come to hear more about the allocation of organisations’ operational grants and ask any related questions in Wilhelmsson Hall on Friday 22 February from 5 pm to 6 pm.
The info session will include information on the principles according to which the grants are allocated, how the allocation of operational grants is conducted and how you can attempt to increase the grant your organisation has received. This year we have a new updated model for allocating the grants.
